the brief
Design and engineer a parabolic concentrating solar thermal system to be easy and fast to install and service. An existing design did not meet the
requirements so this was a ‘start from scratch’ exercise with a large amount of technical challenges.
solution
A very well engineered cost effective solution that enabled the client to begin selling their product in to a global market. The project took just over
one year to complete. The design is simple and elegant with minimum number of parts and fixings.
the result
This product won the award for the most innovative new product at the 2009 InterSolar show in Germany which is one of the largest solar shows in the world.
