the brief

Focus SB came to us with a rather urgent brief. They had the idea for a “smooth” faced range of sockets and switches. But their engineers were too busy to take it on. There was nothing like it on the market at the time. It had to be simple to make, not too heavy ( like its American competitor) easy enough to fit on-site and cost effective to manufacture

solution

The solution was a well thought out, but simple and elegant solution that enabled Focus SB to manufacture the product in-house without the need for special tooling and to get the product to market. The product can have a face plate to match the wall so it blends in beautifully

The Smoothie is now yet another high quality British made electrical product in the Focus SB range
