I’m a great believer in finding the best tools to support you in your work. In Product design that means finding great software, such as Solidworks that we use. Finding a great 3d Printer such as the Bamboo X1 carbon, that we have here for quick design validation. Another example, as shown in the image is using a tablet and spaceball instead of a mouse. Its just so much better once you get used to it. Stops RSI and allows you to just get on with focusing on doing great product design work. We are always looking to improve and add to what we have. We recently upgraded our computer workstations, not because the old ones were wrong or broken, but because we knew we could get better and be slightly better as team because of the upgrade. We also have spare computers that are ready to go in case of a failure under pressure. This, amongst other things, helps make sure we don’t let clients down with deadlines. To get consistent high quality results the quality needs to be everywhere. High quality thinking, high quality actions, even high quality pencils! ( Sorry! we are probably pencil geeks! because we import them from South Korea ! Mad maybe? or just insistent on high quality in everything we do. Working with us you will see this quality come through. In communications, in designs, in planning, in quality prototypes and defiantly in the product at the end of the process.
