How we helped Stephen Britt attract investment
for his pedal that can power a bike
An innovative power boost for any bike
Stephen Britt had already hit the headlines with his invention. His Britt Power Pedal could propel a bike on the daily commute with an injection of 125 Watts of electrical power.
Press and TV appearances attracted industry attention, with Llyod Clarkson of Raleigh UK enthusiastically proclaiming that ‘I can see huge potential for this product’.
Stephen came to us to help style the product for its target market and to attract investment – with an appearance on Sky Pick’s on ‘Make me a Millionaire Inventor’, waiting in the wings.
We took the project on as a fresh invention, and coupled with the keen eye of Stephen Britt, the end product has now attracted the backing it needs to make waves in the cycling accessories arena.
Whereas other design companies will go so far in helping you solve a problem, we put in all the extra graft to ensure we know your customer inside out, so that what we produce is on point and received with open arms in the target market.
We delivered a solution that opened up the UK market for Mainline. It provided a practical and flexible solution to moving power sockets and data supply in the modern house. In recognition of this Mainline has gone on to win numerous awards globally, including the RedDot Design Award and the Australian Design Award.
